I thought we wouldn't get much snow this winter, but our first snowstorm left about a foot of snow. Some snow drifts were much higher than a foot, some areas were almost bare. The wind was unbareable, there was white-out conditions all yesterday. But, like always, the storm passes, the sky clears, the sun comes out and the clean-up begins! There is a light at the end of the tunnel, warmer temps and some rain due for the end of the week.
The poor goats were locked inside today. The wind was too much for them. Nubys belly is getting bigger. She tried scratching her hind leg this morning but couldn't reach, her belly's in the way. I thought she's due the end of January....I don't know????
Uh ohh Do you think we overestimated her due date? Maybe she's due the beginning or middle of January!!! :-o. The storm was bad! Goats were locked up, whole families were locked up in their homes and I was locked up at the hospital. Can't wait for the next storm!
